  • Designed a multi-tenant architecture that isolates data with PostgreSQL schemas.
  • Implemented Docker-based auto-setup so deployments start from a consistent environment.

Shopify Projects Backend

Shared backend work for The Pant Project, Iqrup + Ritz, Manam Chocolate, and Kalakaari Haath.

  • Built a reusable Python library for Shopify’s GraphQL API and used it across these storefronts, reducing query cost usage by 50%.
  • Developed an HMAC-based service that receives and verifies Shopify webhooks.

  • Modeled tenancy on a single database and a single schema, isolating each tenant through foreign keys.

Multi-tenant SaaS backend, including supplier onboarding and automated carbon accounting reports.

  • Built tenant-level data isolation for the SaaS application.
  • Developed a FastAPI microservice that streamlines supplier onboarding for each tenant.
  • Automated carbon accounting reports: data processing, chart generation, and PDF output, saving about 40 hours per week.
